Previous sold at Christie’s, New York, Sept. 2004, Sale No. 1409, lot 152 as described: Tibet, 18th/19th Century. The figure of Tsongkhapa wearing a peaked headdress and robes with incised hems flanked by his attributes of a sword and a book; the smaller figure seated side-saddle on a goat with twisted horns and mounted on a wood base.
