RARE CHAFFEE-REESE BOLT ACTION RIFLE. NSN. Cal. 45-70, 28-3/8″ bbl. Dated “1884” on top of the receiver rail and on the “SWP” inspector cartouche on the butt near the left side of the stock. CONDITION: Retains much of the blue turning brown and covered with dried grease and specks of rust. Stock shows only minor handling marks. Action is fine. FS823 4-47540 (2,000-3,000)
