*PARKER VH DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. Built on a 1-1/2 frame with 28” barrels choked Improved-Modified/Modified, having a tapered matted rib with single ivory bead, extractors and double triggers. The receiver has light border engraving with the “Parker Bros.” name on each side. The wood is straight grain walnut with splinter forearm and capped pistol grip stock, 14-1/4” over a late dog’s head buttplate. SN 217378. CONDITION: Very good, the barrels retain about all of a fine restored rust blue finish. Receiver and opening lever retain most of its applied color, fading and turning gray on the sides and bottom. Triggerguard retains about 70% original blue, gray on the tang. There is a tiny hairline back of the top tang in the buttstock and the wood retains about all of a fine professionally restored finish. Bores are bright and shiny. This shotgun does not appear to have had a lot of use. 4-47481 JL (1,500-2,500)
