*PARKER BHE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12ga. Scarce shotgun in a higher grade and in more scarce condition. Our shotgun is built on a No. 2 frame with 30″ bbls having raised matted rib, single bead and dolls head rib extension. It has ejectors and is choked FULL/IMP-MOD. Receiver is very nicely engraved with bird dogs on the left and right sides with a running stag and hind on the floorplate. All surrounded with about 75-80% coverage, fine arabesque patterns. Both sides of the receiver are marked “PARKER BROS.”. The fences are also engraved with wide border and arabesque patterns, as is the opening lever. Wood is nicely figured French of Circassian walnut with raised checkered fleur di lis side panels and extra coverage checkered wrist. Pistol grip has a gutta percha cap with plain gold disc. Forearm is full checkered, matching walnut with very ornately engraved iron. Receiver has dbl. triggers and is 14-1/8″ over a collapsed and calcified solid red pad. Drop at the comb is 1-3/8″ and 2-1/4″ at the heel and weighs 7lbs 15oz. SN 188943. CONDITION: Excellent, as new. Retains about all its strong bright original blue on the bbls. 98-99% strong bright case colors on the receiver, top tang and thumb lever. Wood is sound and retains about all of its original factory finish with only very minor handling and storage marks with a small bruise on the right side of the buttstock.
