*PAIR OF BROWNING EXHIBITION GRADE LIGHTNING SUPERPOSED SHOTGUNS. Cal. 20ga. Spectacular pair of shotguns. One with 26-3/8″ bbls choked MOD/IMP-CYL, other set 28″, choked FULL/FULL. Both guns have solid tapered matted ribs with dbl. ivory beads, case colored receivers and sideplates with spectacular exhibition grade feather crotch cut walnut with fine schnable tip forearms and straight stocks, 14-1/8″ over a skip lined checkered butt. The forearm is full checkered and the straight grip with extensive checkering. The thumb lever tabs are pierced carved with floral designs. Receivers and sideplates are extensively engraved with about 80% coverage of extremely fine arabesque patterns. Bbls are hand-engraved with the Browning name and address and “MADE IN BELGIUM”: on the left side and usual Browning cal. markings engraved on the right side. Chambered for 3″ ammunition. Bbls have ejectors and the receivers with dbl. triggers. The short bbl gun is numbered “1” at the breech end of the rib and behind the SN and the long bbl gun is numbered “2” in the same places. SN’S 326 & 327. CONDITION: Pristine, as new. Appear to be unfired retaining all their original factory finish to both metal and wood. The case colors are spectacular to match the unbelievable wood.
