*GASTINNE RENETTE ULTRA FEATHERWEIGHT SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. Cal. 12ga. Baby Bretton model with 27-3/4″ plain bbls, with open side ribs, that appear to be alloy with steel sleeves and further appear to be removable. Receiver is coin finished alloy, nicely engraved on both sides in arabesque patterns with the model number on the bottom and the makers’ name and “FREDERICKSBURG, VA” on the right side. Wood is modestly figured walnut with satin finish, checkered grasping groove forearm, typical French pistol grip stock with fluted carving on the cap, a sling eye in the bottom with an original red waffle pad. SN None visible. CONDITION: Excellent, as new. Appears to be unfired, retaining virtually all its original factory finish to both metal and wood. 4-45941 JR455 (500-1,000)
