UNUSUAL CARVED WILLOW CANE. 45-1/4″ l with strange growth openings down the full length and is also carved down its length with a variety of animals including camel, elk, pig, chicken, bear, cow, horse, goat, Texas longhorn with other features such as hearts, a rifle, a revolver and several stars. About the center, in raised carving are the words “ARM GARD”. Toward the handle end in raised carving are the words “FERGUS CO. MONTANA” with backwards N’s. Also on the handle end are the words “HILL RANCH” and further around the cane is carved “JANUARY 1 1900”. Further down the cane is carved “HART’S”. A wonderful and unusual Western cane. 4-47051 JR524 (750-1,000)
