GREAT LAKES BEADED POUCH. Fine Great Lakes loom beaded pouch, possibly Mesquakie with the body being 11-1/2″ w x 11″ t of red wool and green cotton cloth having the full face covered in geometric patterns using green, yellow, blue and red beads with clear bead background. The edges are decorated with tiny white beads. The bottom of the bag has 5/8″ wide tassels, 2″ long, loom beaded with light blue, dark blue, red and yellow beads in geometric patterns. Each with green and red wool tassels. The top of the bag is additional 6″ h of red wool trade cloth and green cotton border with white bead edging. The inside of the bag is lined with brown and yellow striped printed cotton. The straps are 19-1/2″ l x 3-3/4″ w on white and blue polka dot dotted Swiss fabric. One strap with yellow background with blue, red and green geometric patterns. The other strap with white background with blue, green and yellow geometric patterns. Each strap has six additional fringes at the top with blue wool tassels. One strap is bordered in green and the other with red and brown. CONDITION: Some losses of white beads to the outer edge, losses of beads on the bottom fringe and mothing to the red trade cloth with some additional slight losses of beads on the body of the bag.
