LOT OF 51 EARLY COLOR INDIAN PRINTS MOST BY F.A. RINEHART. Approx. 39 of these colored prints, all 6-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, depict numerous, famous Indian Chiefs and representatives of a great variety of tribes including Kiowa, Sioux, Maricopa, Sac and Fox, Cheyenne, Pueblo, Apache, Assinniboine, San Carlos Apache, Flathead, Blackfeet, Witchita, Crow, Winebego, Tonkawa, Nezperce, Arapaho. All appear to be copyrighted in the late 1800’s, early 1900’s by F.A. Rinehart of Omaha. This is an outstanding lot by a well known Western artist. Another group of 12 9 x 13 prints of Blackfeet Indians including Chief Curly Bear, Horn, Buffalo Body, another of Curly Bear, Wolf Plume, No-Go-Out, Heavy Breast, Wolf Eagle, Many Tailfeathers, Big Moon, White Grass and Eagle Child. All in their original brown manila folder with decorated cover from Glacier National Park. They are copyrighted 1914 by Dave Scheuerle. CONDITION: Very fine. All the colors are vivid and bright.
