NEZ PERCE HORSES HEADSTALL. Very nice beaded on sinew, headstall on leather backing with multi-colored bands on the side straps with the forehead strap mostly covered with light blue, yellow, dark blue and gold small beads. Hanging from the forehead strap is a key-hole design decoration about 8-1/2″ long, full coverage beaded with light blue, dark blue, coral, yellow and white beads with white center, red, yellow and blue tassels hanging from the bottom and surrounding the top. The bottom ends of the side straps are attached to a brass and copper bit with large blue beads on each end. CONDITION: Fine. Colors are bright, leather is sound with one lost string of beads on the forehead strap. Otherwise, intact. 4-47039 JR530 (1,200-1,700)
