KENTUCKY FLINTLOCK PISTOL. NSN. Cal. .44, 7-1/4″ part oct. bbl marked “TA” in script on the lockplate. Brass mountings on a walnut stock. Lock appears to be original flintlock and fits the stock well, but the inletting appears to be for a different lock. Front lock screw is a slightly undersized replacement. Mainspring is soft. CONDITION: Gray-brown patina on iron parts with hints of blue on the lock. Stock has cracks at the rear lock screw and triggerguard screw. It is coated with a dark varnish, which has worn through in several areas. FS879 4-47513 (2,000-3,000)
