TENNESSEE STYLE KENTUCKY PISTOL. NSN. Cal. 48, deeply rifle; 8-1/4″ oct. bbl. Ashmore lock. Plain iron fittings. Has a brass museum/collection tag 88 on the left side of the curly maple stock. CONDITION: Gray-brown patina over all with scattered light pitting. Lock was originally was a two-screw lock, but the front one has had the screw broken off and riveted. Stock has a partial crack at the wrist. Otherwise normal dents and handling. A small piece of wood has been replaced at the front of the lock. Lock is good. 4-47278 FS656 (2,000-3,000)
