CASED PAIR OF SMITH PERCUSSION PISTOLS. NSN. Cal. 50, 10″ oct. Damascus bbls with four silver bands at the breech. Marked “Saml. & C. Smith Princess Street Leicester Square London.” on top of bbl. The same marking without “Leicester Square” on the locks. In an English mahogany case with the initials “FW” on the lid with oil bottle, three compartment flask, cleaning rod, leather bag for Eley’s caps, nipple wrench and key made. CONDITION: Moderate pitting on the down side of the bbls, light pitting elsewhere. Wood is fine with moderate handling marks. Locks are fine. Case has light scratching on the lid and light chips at the corners. The green baize interior is heavily mildewed with some loosening of joints. Leather covering on the flask has lost much of the stitching and the interior compartments are loose. 4-47276 FS653 (3,000-5,000)
