PAIR OF LATE PERCUSSION KENTUCKY PISTOLS. NSN. Cal. .34, 5-3/8″ oct. bbls. Marked “W.T. HOWELL & Co.” on both locks with “PHILADELPHIA” added on one. The birds at the rear of the engraved locks are different. Howell worked in the 2nd quarter of the 19th Century. CONDITION: Smooth brown patina on the bbls, the varnish on the wood has many chips and scratches. One ramrod is a replacement, the other is missing. Both locks are missing parts. 4-47376 FS328 (2,000-4,000)
