CASED PAIR OF PARKER BELT PISTOLS. SN 5800. Cal. .48, 3-3/4″ oct. bbls marked “W. PARKER” on top of the bbls. “HOLBORN LONDON” on the upper right flats and “MAKER, TO HIS MAJESTY” on the upper left flat. Captive ramrods, folding triggers and belt hooks. In an English mahogany case with green baize lining and a white paper label in the lid containing a leather covered, two compartment flask, a bullet mold, nipple wrench, oil bottle and a key which can sometimes be made to work the lock. Case has been reinforced with crude copper strapping designed to make it look like a deluxe case. CONDITION: Good case-hardening at the fronts of the bbls, thinning towards the rear. 70% bright blue on under ribs, triggers and belt hooks. Hammers are gray but the engraving is sharp. Grips are fine with little signs of use. The silver nameplates, two on each pistol are unengraved and slightly tarnished. The accessories are all fine, the outside of the case has been refinished, the interior is dirty but does not show much wear. 4-46961 FS524 (2,000-2,500)
