CASED PAIR OF CONTINENTAL PERCUSSION TARGET PISTOLS. NSN. Cal. .72 rifled bores, 6-11/16″ oct. bbl. Marked “NOUVIAN/BONE” on the front of the stock above the butt cap of one pistol. No proof marks. Continental case is lined with green baize and contains a powder flask, cap tin and replica screwdriver/nipple wrench. CONDITION: Gray to brown patina on metal surfaces with hints of blue on the triggerguard. Wood is battered and cracked around the bbl wedge. Has light cracks around the lock screw. Both locks are good. Case is scratched and missing small pieces of wood in the dovetailing. Flask has been cleaned but is beginning to tone. Several repairs have been made. Only one eye remains of the fastening system for the lid. 4-47385 FS324 (1,250-1,750)
