PAIR OF IRISH JAIL PISTOLS. NSN. Cal. 64., 4-3/4″ oct. bbls, marked “LEECH” on the lockplates with Birmingham proof marks on the bbls. Captive ramrods marked “SLIGO. GAOL.No1” on one and “SLIGO. GAOL . No3” on the other. Both pistols have the dbl broad arrow disposal marks. CONDITION: Gray patina with light to moderate pitting. Mellow patina to the brass. The head of one screw is broken on “No3” and it also has chips missing around the butt cap and vise marks on the stock. They have slightly different hammers. 4-47063 X6 (1,500-2,500)
