PENNSYLVANIA RIFLE ATTRIBUTED TO JOHN MOLL, ALLENTOWN, PA. Approx. Cal. 45, 40-1/2″ bbl. Full length stock. Carved raised cheek rest. Brass engraved patchbox and brass triggerguard. Hammer and lockplate engraved. Incised double line carving which fun from the butt of the stock to the tip of the forestock. CONDITION: Small piece of wood replaced near breech. Small wood plug at boot of stock otherwise wood appears good. Screw missing on triggerguard. All iron metal has some overall pitting and now black. Brass furniture may have been cleaned long ago but now dull in color. 4-46204 (4,000-6,000)
