This sign manufactured for the European market features a wonderful graphic of their passenger steamship the “SS Imperator” at sea, with heavy shelving to the various colors. Sign is captioned “Agentur Der Hamburg-Amerika Linie/Director deutsher Post-und/Schnelldampferdienst”. Marked at far bottom “Torpedo Email” and “Frankfurter Emaillier-Werke, Neu-Isenburg, Berlin W8″. SIZE: 23″ x 31”. CONDITION: Good; surface has considerable scuff marks and wear; some chips to mount holes; body has a mild warp which straightens against a flat surface. 1-14334 (2,000-3,000) – Lot 1796
