BOY’S PERCUSSION FOWLING PIECE. NSN. Cal. 20ga, 21-1/2″ round bbl, 13″ pull. Rear swivel has been replaced with a wood screw. An extra screw has been added to the bbl tang to hold it in place. Rear bbl pin is a slightly oversized nail and has caused a split in the wood. The “buttplate” and forearm tip are carved as part of the wood. CONDITION: Brown patina over all with moderate to heavy pitting at the breech. Wood has been repaired, sanded and refinished. Checkering on the forearm is worn smooth. There is no half cock notch on the tumbler. 4-47062 X8 (1,000-1,500)
