MILLER KENTUCKY FLINTLOCK RIFLE. NSN. Cal. 52 smooth bore, bored slightly off center; 41-3/4″ oct. bbl. Poorly reconverted. 2-pc brass patchbox attached with five screws. There is part of an initial in front of the “MILLER” on the bbl, but it can not be associated with any maker of a gun like this. CONDITION: Brown patina over all with very heavy pitting at the breech. Stock has numerous repairs and numerous replacements plus missing splinters. Ramrod is a replacement.
