LASH PERCUSSION FULL STOCK RIFLE. NSN. Cal. 42, 36″ oct. bbl marked “JOHN-LASH/1855” inside an engraved border with stars, eagle and pointing hand. Fine curly maple stock. Plain 4-pc patchbox attached with three screws and six nails. Lockplate screw escutcheon has been replaced with a sheet of brass. CONDITION: Smooth brown patina with light to moderate pitting at the breech. Wood is fine. Hammer is a replacement and will not strike the nipple. 4-47211 FS677 (1,000-1,500)
