FANCY PERCUSSION HALF-STOCK RIFLE. NSN. Cal. 45, 38″ oct. bbl. Checkered stock has German silver mounts including an engraved sight opening patchbox with a running deer. Rear of the triggerguard has been replaced with engraving matching the adjacent portion. Sideplate escutcheon is missing. CONDITION: Gray-brown patina over all with very, very heavy pitting around the nipple. Wood shows some work at the wrist and the checkering is almost smooth. Bbl key escutcheons are also replaced. Lock is bound. 4-47217 FS693 (400-700)
