FINE LEATHER RIFLEMANS POUCH WITH POWDER HORN. 9″ x 7-1/2″ single compartment pouch with 9″ carved horn and two turned rings at the mouth. Scrimshaw on the horn reads, “1825”/Eagle holding a banner with “E. PLURIBUS UNUM”/over “LUTHER M. TRUSSEL”. Mouth and domed plug are painted black to match the sawed tooth decoration around the inscription on the body. CONDITION: Some mildew. Leather is still supple. Shoulder strap is broken and missing a section. Horn is very good. 4-47330-146 FS616 (500-750)
