DERINGER MILITARY-STYLE RIFLE NSN. Cal. .54, 39-1/4″ bbl. Marked “DERINGER/PHILa” on top of bbl and on lockplate. Poor reconversion using wrong parts. The eagle head patchbox has the number 12 inside the lid. CONDITION: Heavy pitting on bbl, except where it was filed for reconversion. Wood has numerous cracks and repairs along the forearm. Ramrod is missing, the rear sight slot has been filled with a brass blank. Brass has a very dark patina. 4-47350 FS309 (2,000-4,000)
