THOMAS ALLISON FLINTLOCK KENTUCKY RIFLE. NSN. Cal. .46, 40-3/4″ oct. bbl. Marked “T Allison” in script on top of the bbl. Bbl has been reconverted and the lock is a replacement. Simple swinging patchbox. Iron triggerguard is probably a replacement. CONDITION: Gray-brown patina on bbl with patches of heavy rust and signs of cleaning at the breech. Stock has been broken in two through the wrist, repaired, sanded and refinished. Buttplate has been bent at the bottom, crushing the wood underneath it. This is a very simple gun with no tailpipe for the replaced ramrod. 4-47423 FS296 (1,000-1,500)
