INTERESTING LEMAN PERCUSSION RIFLE WITH INDIAN USAGE. NSN. Cal. .52, 38-1/4″ oct. bbl. Stock appears to have been taken from a Model 1842 musket including the triggerguard and trigger. The front is attached to the bbl with two pieces of sinew sewn rawhide. CONDITION: Rust-brown patina mixed with grease and dirt. Missing the buttplate with the wood roughly gouged and worn. 4-47347 FS284 (1,500-2,000)
