POMEROY TRADE MUSKET. NSN. Cal. .70, 36-3/4″ round bbl with bayonet lug on top. Appears to be the original lock for this gun, but there is no known contract with Pomeroy for trade guns, so possibly a commercial venture. CONDITION: Gray-brown patina over all with moderate pitting at the breech. There is some light chipping around the lock. Sideplate has possibly been replaced. FS825 4-47546 (1,000-2,000)
