PARKER LEADED AND OVERLAY TABLE LAMP.

Parker table lamp has leaded glass paneled shade with decorative metal overlay following the leaded lines. Top of shade has large heat cap with openwork trellis design and cast metal leaves and flowers throughout the trellis. Metal overlay is finished in a copper tone. Unsigned. Shade rests on a Parker base with cast floral design matching that of the heat cap. Base is finished with a brown patina and is signed on the underside with an applied cloth tag “The Charles Parker Co”. Shade is pictured in the book Mosaic Shades, Vol. II by Paul Crist, pg. 30. SIZE: Lamp 22″ t. Shade 20″ dia. CONDITION: Shade appears to have an old solder repair surrounding one large caramel slag panel possibly replacing that panel, otherwise very good to excellent. Base is very good with some minor scratching and wear to patina, replacement socket guts and rewired with appropriate cloth cord. 44208-7 (2,500-3,000) – Lot 1745
