J. DEMUTH FLINTLOCK KENTUCKY RIFLE. NSN. Cal. .50, 39-3/4″ oct. bbl. DeMuth bbl has probably been set back from an earlier use. Sharpe lock and heavily engraved patchbox are crudely installed on a later lightweight stock. CONDITION: Heavy crusty rust on the bbl. Lock has been heavily greased so the surface is not visible but probably has the same type of rust. Stock has been broken from the triggerguard forward and crudely repaired. Patchbox was attached using large round headed wood screws. 4-47348 FS289 (2,000-3,000)
