LARGE HIGH GRADE GOLF CLUB TRAVEL CASE.

This lot manufactured by Lockwood Brown & Co., LTD. / 42 Jermyn Street, / London, S.W. is a large antique leather golf club carrying case that measures 54″ L x 10-1/2″ W x 6-3/4″ T. Brass bound corners, leather straps, brass lock and brass nub feet. Interior is beige fabric lined with maker label on the inside. When new this would have likely been the property of a very wealthy traveling golfer. CONDITION: Good. Leather with scuffs, scrapes and scratches throughout. Starting to crackle on corners. Brass hardware is mostly good. Leather straps are brittle, but still fully present. Left strap needs to be restitched. Interior lining is very good with some soiling and could benefit from a gentle cleaning.
