TWO INTAGLIO CARVED VASES.

1) Intaglio carved vase has green cut to clear frosted body with a young angel standing on a porch with her head resting on a newel post, with flowers surrounding her. The reverse side of vase is carved with a Native American maiden with feathers in her hair, standing beneath a row of grapevines. The vase rests on a clear glass pedestal base. Signed on the side with artist’s initials. 2) Intaglio carved vase has green cut to clear scene of a maiden in flowing gown with a bird perched on her hand. The reverse side of the vase depicts two maidens standing on a rocky cliff. A large grape cluster adorns the side of the vase. Signed on the side with artist’s initials. SIZE: 1) 17″ t. 2) 12″ t. CONDITION: 1) Large chip on the rim that has been glued back into place, otherwise very good. 2) Very good to excellent. 51895-4 (2,000-3,000) – Lot 1733
