HIGH GRADE STEPHEN GRANT BACK ACTION HAMMER GUN.

SN 2823. 12 Ga. 30″ Damascus bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Choked: CYL/CYL. Full length Damascus top rib with brass front bead lightly marked “S GRANT 674 ST JAMES’S ST LONDON”. Double triggers, extractors, no safety. Straight grip stock with 14-1/2″ LOP over half serrated lined butt with small nickel oval. Checkered in 4-point checkering with mullered border. Jones underlever opener. Splinter forearm with wedge fastener, near full coverage checkered in 4-point pattern, and fully engraved steel tip. Receiver is finely scroll engraved, approx 75% coverage. Hammers beautifully scroll engraved with fish pattern near striker. Both locks marked “S. GRANT”. Weight: 6 lb 8 oz. PROVENANCE: The Estate of B.E. “Andy” Anderson. CONDITION: Excellent, as refurbished. Bbls retain virtually all of their restored high contrast pattern in a chocolate color. Receiver has toned gray, being slightly worn with light brown striations on bottom and sides of frame. Buttstock and forearm retain virtually of a professionally restored finish. Checkering is sharp.
