Dan Patch Rye Whiskey reverse on glass sign. Rare sign of the sensational harness racer “Dan Patch” that mentions the world record pace he set in 1905 of 1:55 in the quarter mile. Made by B. Pause & Co. for the Alexander Bauer & Co. Distillery, Chicago, circa 1905. SIZE: Largest is 35″ w x 29″ h. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Richard J. Miller. CONDITION: Estey has vertical crease that has worn through. Dan Patch has some lifting of paint throughout the horse.
