Lamp has a contemporary leaded glass shade in the manner of Unique Art Glass and Metal Company. The shade has stylized purple flowers and green leaves within very heavy lead lines. Unsigned. The shade rests on an original Handel base with Oriental motif. The base is finished in rich brown and is topped with a fleur-de-lis heat cap. Signed on the underside with applied cloth tag “Handel”. SIZE: Shade 19″ dia. Lamp 23-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base is very good with blistering to finish. Rewired with appropriate cloth cord. 52035-2 (1,200-1,800) – Lot 1728
