*M1D GARAND W/M84 SCOPE BY SPRINGFIELD ARMORY.SN 2831635. Cal .30-06, std “S-A-3-5” Bbl fitted to an apparently arsenal refitted and refinished WW II rcvr. Cross-slotted gas lock screw, narrow platform gas cyl, bayonet stud slightly milled diagonally at rear with no proof mark. Trigger housing “D28290-5-SA”. Bolt “D28287-12SA”. Windage knob “DRC”. M84 scope SN 18134. Cheekpad “MRT 2 52”. Sanded and refinished stock retains hint of crossed cannon cartouche on left side & Serif “P” on pistol grip. CONDITION: Ext fine to near excellent dark blue arsenal refinish. Noticeable pitting under refinish of mag floor plate. Balance of metal without pitting. Scope mount grey-green tinted orig finish.
