**PAIR OF HECKLER & KOCH GREY COMPOSITE SHORT BARRELED RIFLES.1) HECKLER & KOCH SL8-1. SN 48-009747. Cal. .223. NOTE: Each item will incur its own BATF transfer fee if transferred on a form 4. Length of bbl #1: 14-3/4″; length of bbl #2: 19-1/2″. This H&K SL8-1 has 2-bbls. 14-3/4″ bbl is currently installed on the gun and incorporates a prong-type flash hider; the other bbl is 19-1/2″ and is threaded at the muzzle. Integral scope incorporated into carrying handle with a combination of light grey and black composite furnishings. Folding buttstock assembly not present. No magazine present. Firing mechanism moves smoothly when operated by hand, however, hammer does not fall when trigger is pulled. This is a National Firearms Act item and requires BATF approval prior to transfer. This weapon is fully transferable on an ATF form 3 or form 4 and is registered as a short barreled rifle. PROVENANCE: From the Estate Collection of Noted Discerning Firearms Enthusiast, Donald W. Dix, Jr. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish near excellent in all respects. Both bores are excellent, shiny and bright. Composite furniture has only the slightest, slightest discernible handling marks. Optics are clear, very little indications of use. A fine, handy 223 short barreled rifle. NFA 2) HECKLER & KOCH USC. SN 47-002329. Cal. 45ACP. Heckler & Koch USC semi-auto rifle with 16″ bbl. Apparently this rifle was a project in progress and short bbl was never installed. So although this rifle is registered as a short barreled rifle and will transfer this way, there is no short bbl present. Grey composite furniture with sliding rail on top of receiver. German proof visible on right side of bolt with attractive “HK” logo and Cal. No magazine present. Firing mechanism moves smoothly when operated by hand, this weapon appears fully functional.
