FINE CARVED & ENGRAVED NEEDLEFIRE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN WITH ROYAL CREST.

SN NSN. Cal. 16 GA. Beautiful 31″Damascus bbls marked on rib “TESCHNER & STURM – PATENT”. Breech receiver, cocking arm & other iron mounts are deeply engraved with floral & animal motifs. Top of breech has a gold inlaid crown above a shield with mark of a nobleman. Stock is beautifully carved in relief including large panel of a dog pack. CONDITION: Very good overall. Metal is grey with sharp edges with no orig finish. Engraving all discernible. Wrist has old break and contemporary repair as can be seen in photos. Small piece of wood missing on right side of buttstock where it adjoins breech. Gun appears functional, cocking arm exposes needles with bright shiny bore. 49253-17 JS (2,500-4,500) – Lot 1699
