TWO RENE LALIQUE COUPES.

1) R. Lalique coupe in the Volubilis pattern is decorated with three morning glories with stems extending to create three small feet. The piece is done in yellow glass with opalescent morning glories. Signed on the underside with engraved signature “R. Lalique France No 383”. Marcilhac 383. 2) R. Lalique coupe in the Charme pattern is done in clear glass with a frosted rim of impressed stylized leaves. Signed on the underside with etched block letters “R. Lalique France”. Marcilhac 10-387. SIZE: 8-1/2″ dia and 9-5/8″ sq respectively. CONDITION: 1) There are tiny fleabites to two of the feet, otherwise very good to excellent. 2) There is a tiny fleabite to one corner of the rim and some light scratches on the underside where the coupe rests on the table. 48965-7 (800-1,000) – Lot 1687
