SN 860. Cal. 12 ga. 2-3/4′ Chamber. 32″ Tapered round twist bbl choked modified, has Nock form at breech end engraved “A. Sanders (Late J Swineen) Maidstone”. Bbl has year 2000 London re-proof for 2-3/4″ chamber. Round bodied top lever action is fitted with peninsula back lock with serpentine hammer. It is engraved with sprays of scroll. Dense, lightly streaked European walnut straight grip stock is fitted with dark leather covered pad, and has typical checkering and vacant silver oval. Matching small forend with horn tip has spring tension release. LOP 14 7/8″ over leather covered pad. Weight: 5 lbs. 4 oz. CONDITION: Fine, as refurbished. Bbl retains nearly all of a fine brown finish. Stocks nicely refinished and re-checkered. Action is orig gray mottled patina, lightly pitted. Bore is excellent. Action is tight.
