SN 608. Cal. 45 ACP. 5″ bbl fixed sights with matted slide. Left side of slide marked “SISTEMA OBREGON CALIBRE 11.43”, 1000 manufactured during World War II for commercial sale in Mexico. Rotating bbl system much like the Steyr or Savage with an overall appearance of the Model 1911 A1. Receiver marked “FABRICA NACIONAL DE ARMAS MEXICO NO. A608”. Blue finish overall. 2-pc checkered walnut grips. 7-rnd Colt pattern 45 magazine with smooth non-checkered wide hammer and serrated frontstrap. CONDITION: Exterior finish has turned a mottled plum finish with dark blue in somewhat protected areas. Bore and mechanics are excellent. Grips are slightly worn but very good with no breaks or cracks. An extremely rare 1911 derivative infrequently encountered. 51034-11 TDW (1,000-2,000) C&R – Lot 1673
