SN 1908. Cal. 12 ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 30″ Damascus bbls with 1989 London nitro proofs for 2-1/2″ chambers, are marked “D. Gray & Co Inverness” on rib with dolls head extension. Case hardened boxlock action is line border engraved, and has pivoting third fastener and double triggers. Makers name is on each side. Nicely marbled European walnut straight grip stock is fitted with well engineered robust adjustments for LOP, pitch, drop at heel and comb, and cast. Adjusting T-handled key is included. Splinter forend has spring tension release. Weight: 7 lbs. 8 oz. Old green canvas case with leather trim is lined in dark green felt, and has reproduction Atkin, Grant, & Lang label, charge card, and Palmer Jones Try Gun labels in lid. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain nearly all of a fine re-brown. Action has most of its color. Stocks have most of their orig finish with considerable marks. Bores are excellent. Action is tight.
