*ITHACA 5E KNICK MODEL SBT.SN 405028. Cal. 12 Ga. 32″ bbl. 2-3/4″ chamber. Choke: FULL. Full length matted ventilated rib with “certifiable pre-ban ivory” mid bead and orange fluorescent Ithaca front sight. Nickel plated, checkered trigger. Automatic ejector, no safety. Capped full pistol grip front stock with 14-1/2″ LOP over modern Ithaca Gun Co. Sunburst pad. Trap forend. Checkered in typical high art Grade 5 pattern, with gold oval in stock. Receiver is beautifully engraved in typical Grade 5 pattern with gold pheasant on left and gold woodcock on right surrounded by acanthus leaf scroll engraving. Bottom of frame engraved with eagle and marked “Made in USA / Ithaca Gun Co., Ithaca, NY”. Trigger plate engraved in geometric design with acanthus leaf engraving. Trap forearm with latch is engraved in crosshatch and swirl engraving. Weight: 8 lb 8 oz. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Robert Burg. Special Note: This item contains or is made of ivory. This information is located in the front section of our catalog. CONDITION: Excellent, as partially refurbished. Action retains 80-85% orig case color. Bbl retains virtually all professionally a restored rust blued finish. Trigger guard bow shows nearly all of its restored blue with tang starting to tone. Buttstock and forend show about all of their restored finish with light handling marks. Forearm with minor repair on right side. Mechanics are fine. Ejector may need slight adjustment.
