*CHAS. OSBORNE BOXLOCK 12 GAUGE.SN 1733. Cal. 12 ga. 30″ sleeved fluid steel bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Choked improved cylinder and modified. Full length plain steel rib with steel front bead lightly engraved with scroll at breech end. Dbl triggers, extractors, automatic safety, Greener cross-bolt locking mechanism. Straight grip stock, checkered in 2-point pattern, with teardrop behind action. 15-1/4″ LOP over checkered black horn buttplate. Silver oval in buttstock. Splinter forearm with plunger type release, checkered in 3-point pattern. Receiver is nicely and lightly scroll engraved and marked “CHAS Osborne & Co.” in a well executed banner on both sides. WEIGHT: 7lbs. 4oz. CONDITION: Very good. Bbls as noted above have custom blue finish with a few light scratches and handling marks. Buttstock and forearm have been professionally refinished and retain most of their hand-rubbed custom finish. Checkering re-cut. Top lever, trigger guard, floor plate and forearm iron have been professionally re-blued, engraving somewhat lightened. Balance of receiver has toned silver. Bores are excellent.
