SN 55259. Cal. 12 ga. 26-3/4″ Steel bbls are engraved “Wilkinson Pall Mall London” on game rib, and are choked skeet and skeet. Case hardened boxlock action features automatic safety and double triggers. Action is engraved with near full coverage well cut, open, shaded scroll within geometric and foliate borders. “Wilkinson” is on each side. Steel trigger guard with rubber finger bumper fitted, has SN at grip (This number does not correspond with any listed Wilkinson number, so gun was made after 1920 when the actual maker used their numbers). Relatively plain European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14″ over white line pad. Flat top point pattern checkering is at grip. A vacant silver oval is on toe line. Matching splinter forend with inlet horn tip and Deeley release is fitted with Baker ejector. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain most of what appears to be orig blue, thinning considerably on sides. Rear portion of left bbl is considerably marked. Action retains most of its orig case hardening color. Stocks retain most of their orig finish. New pad does not fit well. A reinforcing bolt is through head of stock. Bores are very fine, lightly frosted. Action is very slightly loose. Stock is loose on action.
