SN 401268. Cal. 12 Ga. 32″ bbl. 3″ chamber. Choke: FULL. Full length matted ventilated rib with brass mid bead and red plastic front bead. Gold plated checkered trigger, automatic ejector, no safety. Capped full pistol grip stock with 14-3/8″ LOP over modern Ithaca Gun Co. Starburst pad. Stock comb with minor Monte Carlo treatment at butt. Trap forend. Receiver is fully and finely acanthus leaf engraved with gold ducks in marsh on left and two pheasants in gold on right. Bottom of frame with American eagle in two tone gold, marked “Made in USA”. Bow of trigger guard with fine acanthus leaf engraving and gold inlaid stag. Buttstock is beautiful flame grain American walnut with great contrast and color. Gold shield in stock with initials “JH” engraved. Stocks fully and finely checkered with beautiful Fleur-de-lis patterns and scallop treatment at pistol grip. Forearm with approximately 75% checkering coverage with Fleur-de-lis on bottom and very fine point on top coming down towards forearm metal. Replaced top lever is case hardened but unengraved. Weight: 8 lb 2 oz. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Robert Burg. CONDITION: Extremely fine as restored. Bbl and trigger guard retain virtually all of their restored blue. Frame retains virtually all of its correct restored case color. Buttstock and forend with fine restored hand rubbed oil finish. Mechanics are excellent. Bore is bright and shiny.
