RARE CASED TERRY CARBINE.

RARE CASED TERRY CARBINE. NSN. Cal. .577, 21″ round bbl. Marked “Terry-Patent /30 Bore” above the action. Sling swivels on the front band and the bottom of the butt. In a form-fitting case with a box of Eley caps, empty japanned tin hinged metal cartridge box with a paper label “800 c” on one end and a sling. There is also a 6″ iron rod also marked “30” which is possibly a cartridge former. CONDITION: 50% brown finish mixed with light surface rust and pitting. Wood has been lightly sanded and re-varnished. Case shows numerous dents and scratches; it is missing one of the catch hooks, the other is broken. FS782 4-47548 (3,000-5,000)
