CONFEDERATE ARMORY SIDE KNIFE. Generically known in the trade as the “diver’s type knife” this product of an unknown Confederate armory has a plain unmarked brass hilt with oval crossguard, plain grip and a cast lanyard loop or ring on the right side of the pommel. The heavy blade is 14/25″ long, single edged, with a false edge beginning 8″ from the tip. No scabbard. CONDITION: Excellent. The knife has an untouched medium patina overall and the blade has a very attractive mottled gray finish. 4-47570 CW (1,800-2,200)
