ERNST WAHLISS FIGURAL MIRROR.

Whaliss statue of a bathing maiden on a water pedestal with water lily blossoms and lily pads with gilded highlights at the base, giving way to maidens robes. Maiden is finished in burnished green and gold with gilded highlights and is admiring her reflection in a mirror held in place by her robes. Signed on the underside with blue Whaliss crown logo and scribed “4656 237 3” and impressed “Made in Austria 4656 7”. Model is pictured in the book Monsters & Maidens Collectors Edition by Dr. Byron Vreeland, p447. SIZE: 19″ t.
