*RARE ALL OPTION GRADE 5E ITHACA TRAP GUN.SN 457424. Cal. 12 Ga. 32″ bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Choked: FULL/FULL. Full length matted ventilated rib with twin “certifiable pre-ban ivory” bead. Single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, non-automatic safety. Flame grained fiddle back full capped pistol grip stock with 14-1/2″ LOP over modern Hawkins pad. Beavertail forend. Frame engraved with gold pheasant on left, gold woodcock on right, both surrounded by beautifully executed acanthus leaf engraving. Bottom of frame with American eagle, marked “MADE IN USA / ITHACA GUN CO. / ITHACA NY”. Checkered in traditional Grade 5 pattern with two Fluer-de-lis at grip, scalloped checkering pattern towards grip cap. Beavertail forend finely checkered with Fluer-de-lis pattern at muzzle end. Buttstock and forearm retain most of what appears to be orig varnish with a few minor light handling marks and scratches. Mechanics are crisp. Bores bright and shiny.
